I don't like Nico. But I'm not sure I dislike him more than Franklin. I don't have strong feelings about UCLA otherwise. But I didn't like Penn St long before Franklin got there. I'm torn, but lean toward wanting to see Penn St get upset.

I guess the good news is, no matter what one of those teams is gonna lose.

Let's get over the Nico hate, okay? It is like a guy gets a hotter and sexier girlfriend (Joey Aguilar), but still angry with and pining over the less attractive one (Nico). We came out on top on that trade. Aguilar is doing wonders for us and is gangbusters out there on the field for our Vols. Yeah, that was a bitch move on what Nico did, but he took a HUGE hit financially, is playing for a really bad team, and is constantly ridiculed and chastised by the media. Karma has got him. Let's put the Nico saga to rest and feel blessed that we have Joey Aguilar under center for us and performing well.

Agreed. Everything I hear is that he is a fine young man. It sucks that he has such terrible advice coming from the people around him.
My only goal was for it to be clear that chasing the money train so carelessly was not a good idea. And also, for everyone to see what a great QB we were getting in his place. We won the trade. That is all I wanted.

I agree. I remember on Father's Day, we had a Father's Day cookout for the fathers (my Dad, older brother, and younger brother). I noticed that my Older Brother came over with a Vols jersey and hat. The jersey was a Nico jersey he purchased. I asked why the hell he'd wear that. He told me that he had no ill will towards Nico. He's just a kid. His father is the one that put him up to requesting more money from us. And in the culture Nico was brought up in, you better listen to your parents. I said, "Yeah, I guess you make a good point".

He's a kid that took bad advice and is paying for it now. Let's just keep Nico in the rear-view mirror and just focus on us. He's no longer one of us and we need to all just move on.
