Since we're in a bye week, would it be funny if...

Agreed. Everything I hear is that he is a fine young man. It sucks that he has such terrible advice coming from the people around him.
My only goal was for it to be clear that chasing the money train so carelessly was not a good idea. And also for everyone to see what a great QB we were getting in his place. We won the trade. That is all I wanted.

Don’t want to get in back and forth about some so less important than the VOLS we have on the team but your “Fine Young Man” comment is interesting.

We hear after he left that he was ghosting his NIL appearances and he bailed on his teammates at the last moment after taking first team snaps all spring.

Don‘t wish bad on him, but he does not sound like a choir boy and I do enjoy watching Karma play out sometimes.

This could end up being a James Franklins Northern Illinois. I think it'd be funny as crap if UCLA went down the rabbit hole and pulled this game out.

If there is one coach I absolutely cannot stand, it’s Franklin.

Nope, not even Lane Kiffin can touch him in sheer arrogance and unlikability.

So I will put my pettiness towards Neeko (some of it anyway) aside and pull for the Bruins. Not that I expect it will matter.

Can we please ask if anyone wants to start another Nico thread then please do so in “the around the NCAA” forum.

97.9% of Vol Fans don’t give a dang about Nico, UCLA, or his daddy. The remaining 2.1% act like he slept with their wife or girlfriend and smacked their momma.

Get over it. Dude is gone.

Speaking of lessons learned…..Did the “Squirrel” survive the trampling by the crowd uninjured.
I believe so. Squirrel is one of the few Vols that I don’t have any criticism for their departure. As a WR; I am sure he was just getting frustrated having Milton then Nico at QB and not being able to complete the long ball. And with Matthews coming up strong; Squirrel had to know his targets per game were going to largely disappear. I keep wondering if he would have stayed if he knew we would replace Nico with a gunslinger like Joey.
I hold him no grudge and wish him well.

Nic-0 actually didn't look too bad in the second half against NW, but as usual it takes him a whole half to get going...

A pro volleyball player out here in San Diego told me Nico has been cleared to play for the UCLA men's VB team... so it looks like they're trying to appease him and entice him to stay at UCLA.

Regardless of who disagrees, I could care less, it WOULD be hilarious to see a majority orange stadium and would certainly be spread around football fan sites lol

Exactly put yourself in Squirrels shoes. If you are talented enough to get into the NFL and only get a 6 yd pass shot at you like a cannon once a game by a **** tier QB making millions id leave too.
