Ok. .. Im about to strap up full pads and helmet for the first time since I graduated high school in 2003. It is for a semi pro team here in Huntsville Alabama. I am nervous like crazy and feel like puking. Wish me luck Vol Brothern.

I really hope you do well and love to hear stories like this. I graduated in 2008 and stayed in reasonably good shape. Gonna try walking on to a small school like Tusculum in the near future. All the best and let us know how it turns out :salute::salute:

I haven't strapped on the helmet and pads since December '94. I still wonder what would happen if I jumped into some oklahoma drills today. This always happens this time of year when I smell that fresh cut grass and it reminds me of spring practice.

Well we won our game 26-16. I played fullback the whole time. Knocked a guy on.the ground. Had 4 rushes for 12yds. I also got knocked on my butt on kick return lol the dude was huge... I went to hit him and he elevated me ha. All in all a good fun day. I will be sore tomorrow though.
