How were the Raiders doing before Gruden got there?Tampa Bay would have never won the Super Bowl with Dungy as Head Coach. That franchise needed energy, that's exactly what Gruden provided. I would personally take Jim Harbaugh over either of them.

I don't think the question is Gruden or Saban. Everyone will agree that Saban is proven and most likely the better coach; however, Saban isn't coming to Tenn. So, you have to examine the next best options out there. Gruden is one of them.

Gruden did do well with the Raider's but keep in mind Al Davis (love him or like him) had a lot to do with it. To say Dungy would not have won in Tampa is like saying he couldn't win with the Colts. Oh wait he did. Reset and try again.
