When coaches are raving about how tight a spiral he can throw he prolly sucks.

I believe that he was very impressive at the Manning Camp, not just for his spiral, but also arm strength.

I think Simms will be a very good QB for the Vols. Yes, it might take him a few games to improve and be able to read the defenses. But the coaches will know this going in and try to do everything to increase his confidence. This year it going to be tough for many reason, the OL being one of the biggest, but I think Simms will shine.

pretty sure Rick wore #13.... and Casey wore the eye shield every once in awhile as well.

EDIT: my apologies I was wrong, however i still think that's Casey. JMO

A thread analysing the muscular structure of a QBs arm from a guy who thought analyzing a QBs playing weight is creepy?

OE, you're bi-polar.

I think the arm strength is more of the "zip" he puts on the ball rather than how far he can throw it. Doesn't matter how many plays it takes you to get to the endzone, just as long as you get there.

It is Casey. Check out the T on the pants. We stopped wearing those while Casey was here and switched to the 2 stripes going down the sides while Rick was here.

you must be young... if you rem rick wore the number 16. then when they retired that beloved jersey he took the number 7 that was his brothers....

yep, sure do remember it now that it has been brought to my attention.

Why would it make me young? Evidently I remember Casey wearing #7, and I was actually at the game they retired Manning's jersey, I had just forgotten that he switched numbers.

Needless to say, though.

I thought Simms' arm strength was all the rage this summer.

And the tight spiral! Ballistics!

You didn't miss any thing. Simms is awful and shows you how dire the situation at UT is.

Simms is going to be nothing but a whipping boy for the first half of the schedule.

Why you just go ahead and tell us how you really feel..Give the guy a chance and then post this crap..

i think he could be a big surprize simply bc everyone is so prepared for a horrid season. so if this guy comes out and can keep his head out of his azzz we all will be happy and shocked.
