I think this was from a couple days ago but I searched and didn't see it posted anywhere.

Apparently, Tauren Poole said he thinks Matt Simms is going to be the biggest surprise on Tennessee's offense this season.

There has also been a lot of talk about how strong of an arm he has. I only watched part of the Orange and White game, but from what I saw, I didn't see any throws that made me think Simms had a particularly strong arm. Did I miss it?

I think Poole is trying to give his team a boost. Everyone is talking about him on offense. Take some pressure off him and let the media go after Simms. Hopefully it will hlep Matts ability to play.

You didn't miss any thing. Simms is awful and shows you how dire the situation at UT is.

Simms is going to be nothing but a whipping boy for the first half of the schedule.

TN shocks the conference wins the east, gets rematch with Bammer in Atl and wins the SEC. Simms wins Heisman!

When coaches are raving about how tight a spiral he can throw he prolly sucks.

I'm excited about Simms. He had a great camp at the Manning Camp and the team seems to really support him. Reports were that everyone was impressed with his arm at the Manning Camp. I hope a lot of people are underestimating him.

Look at the posts.... man I hope so..... God let it be true....

Simms is trash!

That's the spirit...

Personally, I hope we have co-biggest surprises on offense (sorry, offence):

Simms and the entire O Line

Really, you are going to take one game and make it a career. I'm sorry.......

Only having a laugh. Hopefully you're incorrect about Simms. Of course, your posts are italicized and underlined, so that must mean something.
