The sight of one snowflake will clear Texans out an office quicker than a drunk with a switchblade will clear out a bar

Well it is time for me to leave work. I can't wait to see how people are driving in this stuff.

It's over in North Dallas. I can see several restaurants from the office and their parking lots are almost empty.

When the bama newscasters announce that everyone should expect one to three inches, I can just see the women thinking..." Oh goody, that truck driving man of mine is comin' home!"

Well we almost cancelled school here where I'm at. I had to call 8 diffrent districts that were coming to a tennis tourney today and tell them to turn around. Now it looks like I'll be able to hold practice this afternoon.

It's just as funny this morning, it's a quarter after nine, the roads are dry as a bone and am like one of twenty people in an office buliding that's home to 600 employees.

We have had our ups and downs weather wise....I feel for the people who have sinus problems.

All this sounds about like what's going on here now. It's snowing now and people are talking about leaving work. I just heard there were a couple of schools who cancelled classes. This is just pathetic. There's no way it's sticking since the temperature was in the 70s just a day or so ago. People act like they've never seen this before.

My daughter's school started 2 hours late and the roads could have not been clearer on my way to work.

That would be me.

I used to have headaches so bad that I felt like my eyeballs were going to pop out. Happened every weather change. Finally went to a ENT doc and after he rerouted my deviated septum, I haven't had a lick of trouble. Well worth the trouble.
