Silly but serious question about Bevo...

I"m watching the Texas folks stroll that big MF down the the street and can't help but think...what's the contingency plan if that thing decides to get a little wild? Them dudes holding on to his ropes would just be along for the ride.
I've wondered the same. And it also applies to Colorado's mascot. If it goes beserk, I don't know how they stop it.

Colorado's Running with Ralphie is more manly than anything Texas has ever done, or encountered, with Bevo.

Yup

I'm not exactly the most "nervous" person on the planet. I love a good thrill and usually dive into things headfirst. Gets the heart going and makes one feel alive. (Add that most people these days are terrified of their own shadow, so it has given me a certain "rep" that I kinda like having ha ha)

There's no way I would even think about being within 100 feet of that thing without a 50 caliber on my hip lol

I would hate to see the insurance Colorado has to pay from that each game. Probably takes most of their gate. Ralphie ever gets loose and some people are getting seriously hurt or killed. It's a virtual certainty.

I’m sure Bevo gets a light dose of medication to take the edge off. He’s been handled enough that he’s not too wild anyway. Not sure how Colorado deals with their mascot. I don’t think I’d want to be around a buffalo. The contingency plan for either is probably someone on standby with a tranquilizer gun. My brother and I have a dart rifle that we occasionally use on our cattle. They’re great to deliver antibiotics if one has pinkeye or to deal with a crazy one you can’t catch.
