Silas Redd

Of course he was but who said he had interest? Good team with a hole at RB is a no brainer, no matter what team you like.

Would it have made you feel better if they listed the twenty other schools that called, that he had no interest in?

I don't 'feel' anything about the situation, so not sure how to answer that.

I'm not defending anything. I've been completely straightforward with my posting style and reasons for posting here. And I knew that I would take heat here from people such as yourself that don't like hearing the truth (Hatcher thread).

Calm down and take a deep breath.

Truth is USC can suck a big ole turd for all I care.

Calm down? Take a breath? Is that more weak defense for being your own worst enemy? Let me get this straight... everything you say is the truth? Hate to break it to you little buddy , but the truth you claim has been your opinion quite a few times. Your biased opinion is embarrassing to your fan base. It's sad when your own admit that.

I dont think Redd will even start for USC.

I believe McNeal is a Very Good RB.

redd will definitely add to the depth and make sure there is no drop off when McNeal needs a breather

Nah man,

My first game was the '92 flood against UF. I have cousins at UT, love being in Knoxville and will always support the boys in Orange (barring they don't play USC).

Absentee prob hasn't even been to UT, and it seems like he signed up just to be a "USC info moderator" or whatever. I'm not saying he should be banned, but Vol2424 was justified in asking him about why he's here.

You mean 1990 - 45-3?

This makes USC IMO the NC favorite. They will be scary good and all will hail Kiffin at the end of the year.

I am not one of those who hate Kiffin. I think he is a very good coach. The complete wrong fit for UT and he took the wrong approach while here, but made it somewhat exciting. He has a great offensive mind and some of the best coaches around.

And he has that swagger to fly across the county and court a guy like Redd and get him.

Kiffin's a tool. He was interviewed on Colin Cowherd yesterday, and was asked about the recruitment of Silas Redd. He said something along the lines of luckily his HS coach and Dad called or he wouldn't have known how to get in touch with them. As if him, Red Orgeron, and the rest of the idiot patrol wasn't scrambling around how to get in touch with these guys. Even can't tell the truth about the simplest of events. The sad part was that he was allowed to contact Redd and still lied about it. He's a giant toolbag regardless of where he coaches.

You've used this '60 combined starts' stat too much now.

4 of 5 USC starters return on the OL for a team that only gave up 8 sacks while passing the ball a lot. Oh, and we had a 1000 yard rusher... And now we've added another.

Are they going to carry the ball at the same time?

...just to set he record straight on the Cowherd interview with LK. He called Redd's HS coach to ask if Redd would be interested, and Redd's father called back, immediately, and invited USC to come to their home in Norwalk. In parallel, the USC AD reached out to the PennState AD and informed him that USC would be contacting only Redd in person, though other PSU players had initiated contact with USC. No USC staff was on site at Happy Valley

Good luck on your season, TN fans deserve a good football team and success

Funny thing about semantics. Is that people w/ agendas or want to believe something bad enough can twist a story to make it anything they want it to be.
