Theyll have their shot if they can out play Lucas Taylor in practice...if not, why put them out there?

He had a couple in the Arky game.

Those weren't "easy catches". Crompton threw about two decent passes that entire night. In fact, looking at the situation, I feel like Crompton should be thrown under the bus, too if you're putting Taylor there. They've both been in the program two years. Neither has really made a big positive impact. Let's go ahead and kick them both of the team. In hindsight, we should have kicked Tee Martin off the team as well, because he was worthless his first two seasons.

He's dropped the ball plenty of times with less passes thrown to him than TO or RM. I can't remember every time he's dropped a pass, and I don't think anyone on here can remember everytime he has dropped passes. But the fact is, he has dropped plenty of passes. Hopefully he will come around and contribute at WR this year, but I just don't see him contributing as much as the new talent we have. O'Neal played at FSU as a freshmen, and tore it up in JUCO. Brent Vinson tore it up in prep school against some other top athletes. Those are the two guys who I think will make more of an impact than Taylor. Jones will probably get more touches than Taylor.

What about 2005? What about all of the times on ST he muffed the ball, or fumbled when he touched, or didn't block anyone, or any of the other bad plays he had. I'm not sold on him yet. My opinion. You guys aren't gonna change it.

Oh crap, you better call the coaches and alert them that they somehow missed all these mistakes in the hours and hours they spend analyzing game film and accidentally put Taylor high on the depth chart.

He won't be playing special teams. As a matter of fact, he's never fumbled the ball as a receiver. You simply let a couple of muffed punts he had as a true freshman cloud your judgement and you've already begun to create all this negative stuff about him. He really hasn't screwed up hardly at all. If you go to a practice, you'll see his potential. He's looked like one of the best WRs out there every time I've seen him practice.

You said dropped passes. Follow along.

I also find it hilarious when common simpletons talk about a WR not blocking. I'd bet around 10% of the people on VN watch for WRs blocking on more than a few occasions.

I did say dropped passes. Find me a link to how many dropped passes he's had since he has gotten here.

The burden of proof is on you, pal. And I don't think you or I would be able to find that stat.

I've searched every site I know and can't find it. He's not proven he's SEC WR material yet. Like I said before, MAYBE HE WILL COME AROUND THIS YEAR, and if he does I will be the first to admit I was wrong.

How many guys don't prove they are SEC material in their first two years with the program? A lot of them.

Like I've said before, I won't agree with you until he proves to me he is capable of making an impact on the field. Just stop trying.

I think I've made it pretty clear I don't care what you think. I'm simply debunking the baseless drivel you've been posting.

Has he dropped pass? Yes. Has he fumbled the ball? Yes. Has he produced enough to say he is a solid contributor? No Is he the best receiver we have? We will find out in September, but I wouldn't put my money on him. BUT, like I said, I hope he comes around and proves me wrong.

He has never fumbled the ball as a wide receiver. As for dropped passes, I'd be shocked if he has four for his entire career. Next.

Meach, Swain, & Smith all made far more contributions their first 2 seasons than Taylor. Taylor had 101yds total last year and we threw the ball like crazy! I'm in no way trying to "bash" Taylor, I think he's a tough, physical reciever. But I sincerely hope these new guys coming in are better, cause if they aren't and we can't run the ball better than 06, we're in deep @$#!.
