Defense got some redemption after not closing out the Florida game. Great to get the win but it was scary to watch them try to close it out for us.

We beat a team we weren't supposed to after being down 21 points with 4 minutes left in the second quarter, I'd say thats signature

Absolutely. Uga was a more talented team. Offensive game plan was really good. Carolina win was a good one but that team was declining. Georgia has multiple years of top five or at worse top ten recruiting classes.

For it to really be considered signature something has to be built off of it.

Its a big win for sure, and one we desperately needed.

Not only was this win hugely important for the team but it was equally important for the Vol fans.....we needed it as much as the team needed it. Hopefully this will be the game that helps to turn things around for the Vols and their fans.....We all deserve that after the fiasco the last 7 years have been. GBO BEAT BAMA!!!!

Even if it's not, the Vols have some confidence going into the bye week. We broke a streak against UGA. The team overcame the adversity of a thought week and season. If it's not a signature win, it's definitely a significant win given the context of this season.

(Also I'm glad we have a BYE week to prep for Bama. That's how Neyland liked to do Bama - always have a soft game beforehand)

Tennessee finally won a game that was called by Verne and Gary. Now we don't have to hear about that stupid "curse" anymore.
