You think Florida will beat UT? Fine. Go hang with the Gators then on their message boards. They'll welcome you. But then don't act all excited and happy when Tennessee wins.

I'll offer another possibility. These negative posters are simply far too emotionally invested and their sense of worth is literally tied to the outcomes of the UT football program. Because of this, coupled with their natural level of cowardice, it is much easier for them to detach from that which they claim to love. If they were friends or family I would really push for them to get some level of counseling or professional help. But as it stands I don't really give a d@m about them.... so that's that.

Exactly. These are the orange-tinged versions of Harvey Updyke. Fortunately, my UT flag flies in between two huge old oak trees somewhere in Ohio. My yard will be hard for them to find.

Don't have a sign idea for this one, but I do remember a sign that was flashed in my face on a previous trip to the Swamp. This guy proudly put a sign up in my face that read "Tennessee fans are inbread" . I asked him something like, "Are you a senior?, Because I would hope that by the fourth year, you would have at least learned how to spell it". Don't think he got it.

FTR, my suggestion wasn't a Butch-basher. I thought this would give OP a great shot at being on camera. No doubt one of the story lines the commentators will discuss is Butch and how he is close but still missing the game which he hangs his hat on. If that's discussed and CBS sees this sign, Im betting OP gets his beautiful nug televised.

Perhaps everyone has a right to voice their opinion, whether or not they agree with you on the current status of team 119.

Maybe the "nega-vols" (which is very juvenile term) want the sunshine pumpers to have their own sub-forum also?

As I've said numerous times already, it's not a make or break game for CBJ, the staff and team 119. If the VOLS win, it's a step in the right direction and shot of confidence this team greatly needs. If the VOLS lose, then it's time to circle the wagons and prepare for conference play against the likes of Georgia, Alabama and Mizzou (all of whom have winning streaks against UT).

Honestly, no one gets on my nerves here. But when people start telling other people how to be fans it pisses me off. It's a god **** message board. People will post what they want.
