SIAP Pruitt fired Brum during the game?

Sounds like it was a rash decision. Might be why our dline gave up during the Game.

Look I'm a huge CJP fan. But there are some things that are worrisome to be completely honest. Funny how winning cures everything and 1 unexpected loss collapses everything lol.

Was not a rash decision. Go back and watch the beginning of the Kentucky game. Rogers was talking about how vocal Pruitt has been about being unhappy about the D-line play.

Coaching staff wasnt told about his firing until early this week. If it had happened during the game players and coaches would have been aware Saturday. Didn't happen, this guy covers KY, he doesn't have access to TN the way countless other Tennessee insiders do. How would they break a story like that and beat a dozen better connected TN media members to this story line? They wouldn't, because it's a farce.

Might not have been rash, but heat of the moment, could have been a verbal spat like this. Pruitt "Your DLine needs to play harder, get some pressure" Brum, "My DLine could if you'd do something with that QB/offense and give them more than 3 plays off" Pruitt "Aight, I've had enough of you. You're fired"

Other than Henry T, who? Bennett and Johnson have been ok while the Crouch/Banks platoon has been a disaster. Pass coverage is abysmal
Okay if you think Crouch and Banks have been a disaster then you have no idea what you are talking about. Johnson is the second leading sack leader in the SEC after missing a game. Bennet has been playing great as well. Sorry that you have to have the announcers on tv to tell you someone is good.

Well, it’s either listen to them or a guy paying homage to Coach Kiffin.

The linebackers have not been great I must strongly disagree. They have really struggled in pass coverage.

I also would like to point out those low throws that got batted down at the LOS against Georgia by Alabama. We never did that to him one time. Alabama has one of the worst D in the country and took over GA in the 2nd. Our D-line quit in the 2nd.

Middleton batted multiple passes during the Georgia game.

That really makes me think he said something about JG or called Pruitt out about not switching QB’s.

I'm starting to wonder if the defense got wind of whatever he was saying, then he gets canned mid-game... couple that with our QB play and it's no wonder the defense laid down the second half, right?
