In my new Si, October17, Stuart Mandel's article gives grades at the mid-season point. Under the thumbs down dept. is Randy Sanders. Hey Stuart, thumbs up to you for the publicity, and educate the world. Everyone in football knows RS stinks but Phil.

Like I said in another thread. Bama was on the cover a few weeks ago. It's time for the Sports Illustrated jinx to come into play this weekend. GO VOLS !!! :clapping:

it isn't just si everybody knows our offense stinks. listen to lou holtz and jim donnan on espn they will tell you we stink. anybody that watches football can tell you what our problem is. it isn't to hard to figure out we need changes on our offensive coaching staff.

First of all, if you believe in the SI jinx do you believe in unicorns and big foot too?? Maybe the lochness monster? Secondly, even IF the SI jinx was real, it supposedly is over after the next week's issue is released. Brodie was on the cover 2 weeks ago. Now, if you're putting all your hopes and dreams into the SI jinx basket, then find another magic trick your team can use to beat us. :birgits_giggle:

I think the QB from Texas Tech threw for more yards last week than Randy Sanders' offense has put up all year.

What was the story about Miami firing their defensive lines coach?

yep even though miami has only lost one game they see something that is broke and they fix it. d-line coach is gone did not get the job done. just imagine if tennessee had coaches like that we might actually improve.

While I totally agree that our offense is pathetic, so is quoting Lou Holtz and Jim Donnan. Lou has left every program he ever coached in shambles and under ncaa investigation. As for Jim Donnan, if he is such a great coach himself then why is he in an espn studio instead of a sideline coaching somewhere?

In the SI article I read, the thumbs down was specifically pointed at Randy Sanders. I looked at it as the opportunity for CPF to see an opinion from the natl media that agrees with what everyone else already knows. Sanders Stinks! Hey come to think of it, that would be a great web site....sandersstinks.com :banghead:
