If true, it sounds to me like some players have lost playing time to younger or more talented players.
You can only play one q.b. at a time. You can only play one tailback at a time. That goes for all positions though.
Some of these star highschool athletes have a sense of entitlement and think they should play immediately.
The system that Fulmer used works perfectly. Lewis, Henry & Stephens. Red shirt one and play two. Then the red shirt has his senior year to himself as the star and he doesn't get banged up too much the other years.
Let Martin develope while Manning plays, and Martin gets two season to prove himself after Manning is gone.
These days, some athletes don't want to wait in line.

Thank you. I will own that thread; it doesn't matter how other people feel. I am glad we won out, which probabilistically won't always happen. The point of the thread was for people to realize that winning out wasn't automatic, even when we are favored over each team individually.

Just to chill you all out. Shy is going no where. He is absolutely committed. Him and Khalil have big plans together for our defensive line. Some very fun times are ahead.

The person telling him about the tweet thought he was considering transfering. OP was asking if anyone had heard any rumors.

What did he supposedly fabricate? That someone at work asked him that or that they told him the tweet existed?

I now know why the call it the silly season and the dead period. Seeing threads like this, well.... fill in the blank. The OP posted a rumor about a tweet and speculated what the rumored tweet might be. And people are confused why other posters are calling him out for posting something that inane? Lord, have mercy.

There is a difference between calling someone out and calling them a liar, or that they fabricated something from whole cloth.

Saying that it might not deserve a thread is one thing. The other is totally different.

No...I'm not the innocent you seem to be. Not speaking for anyone else but I don't buy his SEEKER OF KNOWLEDGE act. I think he was stirring up crap under that flimsy guise. I highly encourage others to simulate his method. This crap's fun! :w00t:
