A couple years I took a friend from the west coast to Neyland (the cathedral of college football) to watch the Vols play. The game was a blast.
However, the school bus shuttle service from the surrounding hotels no longer available. Has this changed for this coming 2025 season?

Didn't go last year but have taken the school buses from Foothills mall in Maryville. 10 bucks a head. Guys are good. we got out of K town fairly quickly. 2 years ago, we actually got an air-conditioned tour bus.

The cost increased to $15 last year. However, it is still a great bargain.

Where is the drop off and pickup point with all that work behind LNS? Used them for years.

An issue with L3&4 eliminated the thought of that many consecutive steps these last 2 years. That and lifting anything heavy with my left arm.

Neuro guy finally diagnosed it as payback for doing stupid stuff throughout my life.

Good news is I have all this extra time on my back to monitor these boards and bring joy and wisdom to all.

I am not sure since B’Js opened up this year. If I find out, I will post it here.

Admittedly it's been several years since I used it, but does the shuttle still run from the Civic Center parking? Best to my memory, it used city buses, not university buses. Back in the day, cost $2 round trip. Would go to the strip, buy Sam and Andy's, go back to the parking area, eat, and wait on the buses to start running.

We usually stay downtown (Hilton or Embassy Suites). There is a shuttle from Market Square to the stadium ($20 roundtrip I think), however we usually only use it to go to the stadium. The line to get back is usually so long, it's faster to walk back.

Publix complicated their SPOT, but bet it is still there. Still have car shows there. I was inquiring about on campus, the drop off and return locations with all the construction behind LNS. Thought that might be a problem. But have not driven it in a while.

Thank you for this information. This is exactly the type of parking/shuttle I like to use. My goal is to get south of Roanoke/Salem the first day of driving. Is Maryville east of Knoxville? How far is the Foothills Mall off of I 40?

4.5 miles past the airport on US 129 (Alcoa HWY) close to the intersection with 411.

Do you have to reserve ahead of time or just show up? How far ahead of kickoff do they start running? Do they accept cash?Thank you for any information.

Looks like the exit is number 386B.
Yep, I live in the glide path for the airport so I know this well. Several brand new motels near the airport that might need the business. The ones off Tesla Blvd. Fairfield Inn and Home 2 Suites. Several earlier generation places in the area too. Lots of food places in sight.

Really looking forward to the trip. Have watched a lot of videos since the Alabama game. The atmosphere looks awesome. Can not believe how many people show up just to watch the band march in !

This page will need to be updated for the upcoming 2025 season, so you might want to bookmark it and check back in a couple of weeks:

Just show up with cash. Buses start 3 hours before kickoff. Last bus leaves the stadium parking area 1 hour after the end of the game. The driver will give additional information if needed.

Yes, used it last year for the first time. Actually, felt it is better than the Ag Campus - quicker back and then you are well away from the traffic hot spots around the campus.
