Showing respect for players

What can I tell you man? Your idea to get rid of Randy didn't work out, but somehow you still believe you know what's best.

We fire PF, what then. What do you purpose? Are you sure?

it did work. Cutcliffe was his replacement and he did so good he's now a head coach again

dude seriously, how stupid can you get?

WTF are you talking about? Firing Randy was one of the only good things that we've done this decade.

Like I said, channeling my inner Rock

Drink your damn Kool-Aid, know your role, and shut your mouth.

I didnt questioned your class as a person. But I guess when you can't answer a thought provoking question, you can attack someones class or character.

The line is drawn at the stadium! Wow, I can boo anywhere else but in the stadium!

My personal opinion is that, if you boo the team, you have no class. Everyone has there own standards I guess.

Glad you're enjoying the revolving door of OC's you've created.

I know my role. It is to support the team. Unfortunately we've got too many sidewalk alumni that think supporting the team means showing their ass.

Revolving door? Again, you are just being irrational and stupid. Sanders was fired cause he was holding the offense back. Cutcliffe went to Duke, not because of fan pressure. Clawson has all the coaching abilities of a fly that just got crushed with a swatter.

im honestly starting to be too tired to debate all this. I do see this as a downhill trend i know and i wasnt saying it was an isolated incident (and actually this convo would come up anytime unless your team is having the same success USC has, and your odds aren't high on that...bout 1 in 119).

But by handling it the way everyone's handling it, it all just looks bad. We're more of a laughing stock inside and outside of the conference (especially media wise) because we all got up and left in the middle of a still winnable game. It just looks very bad and will keep hurting us long term b/c as far as the players can tell, this also means they're bad and that they've let you down, and the future recruits think it looks bad (i wouldnt play for fans doing that) and espn just laughs at it.

Which (and im not applying this to you) makes me wonder, are we in a position where we should as fans be demanding that college students perform well? I know we pay for the games, but we pay to go to a game for entertainment and relaxation...an escape, the money's not put in for a win.....

ugh sorry, it's getting late and at this point my brain goes towards random subject lines and deep thoughts

Simply put, yes.

If the UTAD doesn't want to tank after dropping $200 million on Neyland upgrades... it better hope they start performing better.

My personal opinion is that, if you boo the team, you have no class. Everyone has there own standards I guess.

But logically, using your deductions, you would have to render any negativity as classless. That won't hold water! Using this reasoning, you are guilty if you have spoken one negative comment inside of Neyland Stadium. Or even if you showed some kind of negative gesture at a blown call, busted play, dropped pass, coaching blunder, etc.

Thou art the man!

We lost to UCLA. We shouldn't have.

We lost to UF. We were suppose to.

By the way.........is it totally uncommon for NCAA teams to lose to inferior teams periodically?

sadly no, the periodic loss is normally what balances out the season so that the NC picture is more sorted out

I'm not so sure I can rationally lay this all on Clawson.

Fulmer and Clawson, for some reason, remind me of Al Davis and Lane Kiffin.... except Clawson could at least choose his staff.

Uh, there is a difference between sitting on your coach complaining and booing in the stands when there are 5 star recruits in the section above you. Sorry you can't see the difference.

So, now I'm supposed to kiss some high school kid's ass?

STFU and GTFO

Hahaha, how did the fans create it is the question? You know, the revolving door you speak of.

Well, clearly it's not the players and the coaches.. it must the be vile fans that boo at every opportunity.

When I was at UT, I honestly never heard a boo except when the opposing team took the field. Ooops. No booing student-athletes.

Can we boo refs when they make bad calls or are we too back-woods and stupid to know? I know I booed the Gaffney catch of 2000... but I'm just a dumb ignorant fan.

Why does it matter. Our team is filled with 4 and 5 star players and looked what they are doing.

You just made this very uncomfortable.

Would Clawson be here had Randy not been fired?

Continuity man.....we have none. We've had 3 OC's in three years. Did you honestly think our offense was going to be good?
