Over the last couple of years, I have heard that Dooley doesn't show love to recruits. Then I find out the staff has been in constant contact. So I am guessing that "showing love" is just a euphemism for dropping cash. So am I to understand that Dooley is refusing to pay players and that is why we are missing the elite guys?

It is said that Dooley "keeps it real" quite often. Showing love means sucking up to an over-inflated ego and telling lies.... Aka, hot sauce

Sorry guys, just asking the question. Back in the day, money would show up in the high school locker, there would be sweetheart deals on cars from local fans, $100 handshakes, etc. Then there was the big cash payout for the elite guys. Back then $10,000 would do it. Cam gets $180K. Nobody wants to open the can of worms, because everybody is guilty. I am just wondering if Dooley is going to a gun fight with a knife?

While I don't think "showing love" means quite what you make it to be in the opening thread, I believe there is some validity to your point about Dooley. I'm sure there are many more schools throwing $$ around than we realize. But I don't believe we are one of them under Dooley.
