Randy I have a question for youShoutout @rocytop2624
My son has been waiting for an ASVAB date for like a month. Recruiter said he's been busy and has a new "boss" now, not sure why that matters. Is this typical? I think last time he talked to him was a week or so ago. Still nothing. Does he need to call down to his office and see what's going on? Not sure what the protocol is here. Maybe this is normal, just seems like it shouldn't be this big a deal to assign a date
No, that’s normal. Is he wanting him to the PICAT first and then verify with an ASVAB? Even so, with his scores, they should be pushing to test him quick to get him to join. A new boss wouldn’t matter. In fact, it would impress the new boss to start out a tester scoring so high.My son has been waiting for an ASVAB date for like a month. no medical conditions. Did you mean to say that's not normal or is normal wait timeNo, that’s normal. Is he wanting him to the PICAT first and then verify with an ASVAB? Only thing I can think of, does your son have any pre existing medical issues? That might be a factor. In my tiny station, we worked until a doctor told us the applicant was disqualified. I’ve heard some bigger stations won’t deal with the paperwork with medical waivers and whatnot
it’s not normal sorry. Not remotely normal. I’d have him call. They asvab test all the time. The Meps station should test daily. And we had two different places that were closer that each tested weekly.no medical conditions. Did you mean to say that's not normal or is normal wait time

If the recruiter doesn’t get him a test date, I’d tell him to reach out to the station commander (new boss). Parents regularly get involved regardless of applicant age, so take that how you will
