I'm not saying he played a great game, but he seems to be getting stronger/smarter.I'm not even sure if he should be defensive MVP.He has been schooled this year no doubt, but I'm glad he is rising to the challenge.I hope he continues to improve with all the rest of the newby starters, etc.

Yeah, he played pretty well from what I heard on the radio last night. Any news on his injury? I read in another thread that he had a chest contusion or something like that.

I cant remember which DB it was, but ASU's qb did have a few throws early on that burnt out corner.

I think the MVP should be Brent Vinson. First time playing corner for us and he played the whole way and got a pick. Very impressive.

He was involved...I believe it was Willingham at corner that truly did get burned. I have yet to see Berry get truly burned...as I define as being blown by.

The only time Berry has looked bad was against Florida when he got sucked in a little by playaction and Tebow got one in behind him for a TD.

he looked rough on the one he thought he had a bead on, began backpedalling too soon, only to leap and not reach the TD throw

Johnson seems to be getting better. Vinson is a big corner something we needed. If vinson continues to do well the secondary will improve greatly. Now if we could find a replacement for rudy(ryan karl) we might be getting somewhere.

That was the one I was talking about.
if that's the case, I don't think he got sucked in, I think he just misplayed the ball due to lack of experience or lack of coaching. Next time around he'll know to go as hard to the spot as he can, then turn to make the play.
