Should We Sue The Gators?

When streaks end they hurt way more.

You cannot be serious. The only thing that one loss can bring extra sting after that many losses in a row would be if that one loss kept them out of the SEC championship game or playoff. Considering they will likely lose 3 or more games neither of those are likely. We have a terrible run of losses to those guys and Im ashamed of that era.

UT taking 11 straight punches to the face hurts more than UF catching a long overdue counterpunch.

You're Tennessee, not Kentucky...you're not supposed to lose 11 straight to anyone.

The last 2 hurt the most as UT lost them both to inferior UF teams by a point each after leading the majority of both games.

Here's the good news. I believe we're going to find out. And then we'll see how their fan base reacts.

I agree we will win finally. However losing 11 in a row will come up as long as we live. Im 37 and im pretty sure when we are old when we get on a bad stretch against a team sometime. That streak and the multiple steaks to Bama will come up. One W only cures the 16' mission. Everything prior is huge disappointment.

I only care about 2016. Snap and clear.

I don't think so. I'll have 620wdae blasting in Tampa right afterwards and will be able to listen to all of it.

I guess southern gators are different from northern gators.

Can I also make sweeping generalizations about UT's fanbase, based solely on the brainiacs who call WNML's post game show following a UT loss?

Most thinking people don't think about the last 11 years etc. The media however do love those sorts of things. There isn't a player or coach on this team that has lost more than 3 times to Florida. A couple of those games were really close. So it's not as if UF is miles ahead of us or anything. Just know that we are coming for you.

I missed where I suggested UF is "miles ahead " of UT.

Most "thinking people" know UF is living on borrowed time, with what UT brings to the table in 2016. Those same people know winning streaks don't last forever, present company included.

So we expect UT to come for us...and I also expect UF to compete like we've lost 11 straight to you guys.

Most thinking people huh.
I agree, Jalen Tabor doesn't appear much of a thinker. :)

after 11 years, i care much less about how y'all will feel after that game, than i do about how i'll feel.

win or lose.
This...I wouldn't expect the gator fanbase to be overly devastated ab the streak ending. It's not like a winning streak against Vandy or UK is ending which was rather embarrassing (I thought so at least when we lost to them), but I have to believe that most sensible gator fans realize that we got a squad this year and a loss against us probably wouldn't shock them...there's gator fans that still can't believe we let them get the W last year.

I do believe we have a curse against the gators, but this is the year we end it. Although,I said the same thing last year and would all over again bc we should've left the swamp with W, but Ill say it again this year, and I will be very upset to have to eat the same dish of crow I had last year.

I was born in 89, so I grew up to us losing to Fla and beating bammer nearly every year so I always consider the Fla game more important as it sets the tone for the rest of the season being so early and just carrying around that gator monkey on our backs for yet another year. Get it done Vols...nothing would make me happier than beating the fighting jorts by 21+.
