Should we recruit this kicker?

Well, any way you cut it, Palardy is not getting it done like our "auto points" kickers from the past. We have always had great kickers and punters and now we can't kick our way out of a wet paper sack. Dooley needs to get this fixed pronto and establish a consistent kicking game. And find a guy who can kick it through the uprights on every kick-off.

Eric Russell and Jim Chaney are feeling the heat.

At least recruiting is promising. We need to finish with a top five class.

No pressure, coach. :whistling:

Dont blame Chaney on this one, George Bullock was picked by Eric Russel.

but I will tell you I was told Tn is looking at other kickers in this recruiting class. sorry NO links.

He's not the best kicker in east Tn.

I know who "the best kicker in the state" is ......

A total of 14 Mr. Football finalists are set to play in East-West prep all-star football game, including Blackman’s I’Tavius Mathers, Brentwood Academy’s Woody Baron, Maplewood’s Ladarius Vanlier, Independence’s Landon Foster and Perry County’s Jacob Tucker.

.

Kentucky commit at the moment.

YES I know. I was talking to his dad to day about his stats. Landon's stats on kick off stats area 33 of 37 were all touchbacks, 2 were on-side kicks, 1 was brought out of the end zone before the ref. stopped him & the other was on the 1 yard line.

Bullock missed two more extra points last night and no made field goals. This is an embarrassment for the Big Orange Nation. If what you state is accurate, and Russell is the one who picked him, then he needs to be fired!

It is hard to compare them all, but I thought that Foster was the best punter in the state this year. He seems like a good kid. Is he firmly committed to Kentucky? How is his accuracy on the field goals? I watched a video of him punting and he can really hit them long & high. Was he coached by Heintrich or Wilhoit?

Landon was listed as the number 9 punter in the country including jucos and was listed as the number 14 kicker in the country including jucos. He went to Wilhoit's camp, but his teacher is Chris Sailer. But Heintrich is a close friend of the family.

really a god kid with a 4.2 gpm. & about Kentucky .... hes committed at this time.

good even though they had a lot of problems with the holder. The starting holder tore his ACL at the start of the season.

What are Foster's stats? And why do you tout him over say, Henrique Ribeiro? It sounds like we have a few options better than Bullard.

what kills me about Foster is the kid loves to kick the football :eek:hmy: The kid was a top rated soccer goalie until someone got him to try out for football his sophomore year.

This state has always had great kickers. I hope Dooley and staff can settle on the best one. I hate that we lost Zach Sharp last year, but I also wonder if we shouldn't scholly Derrick Brodus. I guess he still has a shot ~ he sure took care of us on short notice against MTSU.

Can't go wrong with the guys from Maryville.

GO.VOLS.!!!!
