I work here in Knoxville at a TV retailer. So we get to watch the games on Saturdays if/when I'm at work and not at the game.

Every single time it never fails. UT will be playing and people will walk in..,.... shopping..... during the game....... WEARING ALL ORANGE!!!!

They will walk up next to me when I'm glued to the tv and say things like "we winning? That's good" and just keep walking around. Drives me crazy. If you're a UT fan all decked out in orange. Why are you shopping during the game? Why are you not at home or at the game or at a bar watching it??

Every time I just want to :punch_bag:

Should this annoy me as much as it does?

This should annoy you only if I'm allowed to be annoyed that you live in Knoxville, and work on gamedays.

Trust me I try not to. But they schedule you every Saturday here so you have to request off. I've called in/asked off for 3 of our games this season. They're getting pissed.

It annoys me that your job is more important then ut football. Think of the team before yourself.

Yeah nobody works during games. Very few customers come in anyways. Thats the beauty of living in knox, game days are a ghost town here.

I worked in retail a life time ago too and that pissed me off to no end.

Sometimes it was easy to figure out. A man would be tailing some woman looking like a beatin puppy. All the while knowing she had his stones in her purse.

Sounds like easy money. Plus, you'll never hurt for a place to see the game.

If I were you, I would use those encounters as a chance to convince those Vols they need some 1080p to maximize their gameday experience.

Most of the time I see this, there is a "better half" wandering around somewhere close... To these people I say, "GROW A SET!!!"

Use to work retail in Lenoir City. We would always turn it on 107.7 radio over the intercom so everyone could at least listen to the game. When I worked at Parkwest we could watch the game on a TV when we weren't busy sometimes. I don't have a problem with it though. People wear orange rather or not they can go to a game or got other things to. Like down here everyone wears purple on Saturdays and black/gold on Sundays.

I dunno just seems kinda fair-weatherish to me. Makes me wonder if it would be the same story if we were winning

i sure pisses me off....if it is the winning, thats worse...i cant stand fans who only show up for the good....to me, i understand that things must SOMETIMES be done during games, but asking if we are winning?!?!? did they walk? the game is on the radio!! i would never go anywhere in the car on gameday without the radio tuned to the game....its not just you, it burns me up good

Its more the wearing orange that bothers me so much too. It's one thing if they have a Tennessee hat, but a lot of times it's orange shirt, watch, wife has on orange, kids have on orange. Etc. glad to see others are on the same page haha.
