Should Rubio be allowed to stay?

This just doesnt pass the smell or eye test to me. I smell fishy. An interview 2 days b4 signing day. Why would he turn down a Head of Football Operations gig to stay where he is not getting paid much at all and people have referred to him as coffeeboy? Who did the turning down?hmmmmmThe kid sure did use poor judgement if nothing is corrupt here. IMO:hmm:

Because he doesn't like working for Kiffin

Sufficient reasons for dismissal may exist if... I gave the reason in my previous post and there was no paranoia involved.

Oh stop it...You are making it sound more like espionage...Ridiculous...It's a JOB :eek:lol:

Business is business. Rubio heard their offer and told them to shove it; why would we fire him for hearing another offer? Stop with the delusional conspiracy theories already.

Put him in an office with no phone or computer until Thursday if UT is keeping him.

Yeah, it doesn't seem right. I think we should what happens after NSD.

I'm sure Dooley treats those under him with greater respect than X. You have to figure in a lot of things including job satisfaction, title, salary, cost of relocating/living, probable future of program/sanctions, ethics/integrity. I think Rubio had to at least hear the offer but made the choice he believed to be the best for his future.

If he was a mole for kiffen and crew he would have taken the job at USC when offered.

kiffen and crew can recruit with the best of them and are now at a school where even I could recruit for and have success. Why in the hell would they need to keep a mole at little ole UT? I would not put it past the slime balls, but I think some of y'all are reaching a bit.

The guy is a VOL so get behind him.

...also if he was truly a mole I would think they would have kept it quiet instead of having it be known he interviewed for a job at USC.

Again, wait til after signing day to back him. We know how Kiffin operates. Let's see if Rubio is still all Vol after tomorrow and see if Ambles ends up with USC.

all of you poo pooing this dont understand how college football works...this kind of crap happens all the time. if i was MH i would fire him. you cant risk it. why the hell would he go INTERVIEW 2days before NSD other than to give them info on the status on how ambles weekend went etc....

i know it sounds like the magic bullet theory but guys this is very plausable. i say throw him on the street. we need loyalty here right now

This is DD and MH decision to make, they know more about the situation. Personally i dont know enough about it and i believe they will make all the right decisions to do what is right for the program.

The guy is not a mole, give it up. He loves it here, and is happier now than when Kiffin was here.

Once again I will mention the name Kyle Strongin....he should of been gone as soon as Coach O left Knoxville!

If we fire Rubio for turning down an offer we can forget about hiring a descent DC. No one will want to come here. Job security in coaching is bad enuff, but loyalty is priceless. No one will want to coach at "Fire Coach U". Grow up people and get a life. If Rubio isn't really a Vol he'll leave soon enuff. Leave the man alone and give him the benefit of the doubt. You don't fire people over what if's, you need proof. I'm so glad some of you id*ots on here aren't running our program!!!

What does Kyle Strongin have to do with Rubio? Two different situations and two different people...:fool::no:

If Dooley wants to keep him, and it seems that Rubio wants to stay, I say let him stay. Should Saban have not kept Kirby Smart when his name came up for interviews? This seems like an instance of the grass not being greener on the other side of the fence.

I would fire his rear end! He is the Kiffen and Coach O puppet! Probably in Ambles ear the whole visit to UT about how great it will be for him to sign with USC and that he will join him after he screws UT on signing day and they all will sit back and laugh about how easy it was to get all the UT recruiting information out of the office and into Lane and O's hands! If he was all VOL he wouldnt fly to california 2 days before signing day!

You are right Kyle had more stroke with Coach O.. but a snake is a snake no mattter the flavor. However most on here seem to want RR gone because of the "mole" factor so the situation is the same. Has Dooley even offered RR a position?
