With all of the underhanded things kiffin and co have done since leaving and conniving games kiffin likes to play, the timing of this interview is very suspicous. Why would Rubio even agree to a visit with kiffin? We know orgeron has made an attempt to get recruiting files. We also know about the calls that were being made to EE's the night before classes. I would have to question the loyalty of any UT staff member who wasn't sick to their stomach after that debacle. I can't imagine what Rubio would have said when he got back to Mike Hamilton to put his mind at ease. I don't know if anything dishonest is going on or not, but I would think it would look VERY bad for Mike Hamilton if we find out in the future that Rubio is letting information get to kiffin. I'm not sure if I would want to put my job on the line for an intern if I were in Hamilton's shoes.

Paranoid much? The kid is not doing that sort of stuff. If he was, and it ever came out, he would never get any kind of meaningful job in athletics ever again, anywhere.

Now that I have read your paragraph...I would assume there would be legality issues if he was doing so. :eek:k:

I am pretty sure Rubio was on the grassy knoll. Let the conspiracy theories go already.

I think it's a good thing. Can't fault someone to "look" at bettering themselves. However, how sweet is it that X- offered him a position, and HE TURNED THE WEASEL DOWN!!

excuse my ignorance on this matter please!! Who is Rubio? If what i'm hearing is correct, I would have to let him go on his way.

The only thing I want to know is if he cleared the interview before going on it. Did he even inform Hamilton he was going on it? If the answer to both those questions is no... I`d have to let him go. There is a lack of judgment issue here.

Rubio is believed to be the reason we are still in it with ambles. Credit him and Thompson. He is a assistant of some sorts. Also believed to be a part of the reason the current class mostly stayed in tact.

Yes, this is just a job for these guys. After tomorow what good would it do "X" to have a spy in our camp?

Recruiting intern hired by kiffin...pledged loyalty to UT after kiffin left but interviewed with kiffin yesterday and turned down the job

none...and the damage, if there is any, has already been done for this years class. the fear would be over information getting out about next years class.

Sufficient reasons for dismissal may exist if... I gave the reason in my previous post and there was no paranoia involved.

And do you really think he would have access to certain things? After what Kiffin and Ed O pulled i think Tenn is smart enough to watch things a lot closer now. After Ed O wanted to get all the files on recurits

This just doesnt pass the smell or eye test to me. I smell fishy. An interview 2 days b4 signing day. Why would he turn down a Head of Football Operations gig to stay where he is not getting paid much at all and people have referred to him as coffeeboy? Who did the turning down?hmmmmmThe kid sure did use poor judgement if nothing is corrupt here. IMO:hmm:
