Should Rick pursue Dickerson...

Dickerson just asked out of his LOI, with that being said, it would not be surprising at all to see White put no SEC schools on the restrictions list.

Would like to see us get involved quick here. I noticed on 247 that most of the predictions before his UF commit that Georgetown was favored. Now they have 3 bigs committed. I have no clue if they've signed yet but it would have to help us if they didn't have room for him now.

Dickerson, a power forward, and Allen, a shooting guard, would immediately become the top recruits at their position and could supplement almost any recruiting class. In addition to his Georgetown decision and subsequent de-commitment, Dickerson was also considering Auburn, Georgia and Ohio State, among other schools. Among Allen's other considered teams were Arkansas, Baylor and Connecticut.

I doubt they will put restrictions on a kid who signed with a coach that left. Most likely he will be free to go wherever he wants. I think with him being from Atlanta we may be able to at least get a visit but I don't know.

There's certain rules about when you sign with a SEC school, it's why you never see a player who signed a NLI and get released end up at a SEC school

From my understanding both Florida and the SEC have to sign off on it, it's not impossible but very rare, Arkansas and KeVaughn Allen are going to deal with the same issue, that why most think he's hesded elsewhere now.

Also worth mentioning, Ian Chiles may have screwed this team bad. Not only did he not contribute on the court, but from what I've heard he didn't meet the academic requirements that are in place for graduate transfers as he was. The penalty for this, is no graduate transfers for the next 3 years for Tennessee. This hurts most this year, if true, going forward that rule is getting ready to change anyways so it won't much matter, but from what I've gathered that's why we didn't make White's list and why we won't get anywhere with Ruttley more than likely.

What acadmenic qualifications do you have to meet? And is that for enrolling in grad school?

I'm not 100% on the exact requirements, I just know there are certain benchmarks in place that have to be met and if they aren't there's punishment.

Hubbs just said that he thought the Florida guys would be free to go to any school they want too including the SEC.

According to Gatorhoops Dickerson received his release yesterday from Florida with no restrictions and can transfer to another SEC school.
