Should Lady Vols Forfeit To ND?

While you may be right, we should never forfeit a game. No need to go on about how poorly the team is coached. I think we all know by now. It certainly doesn't help that Holly sounds like (Press Conference) she has little to no confidence that her team is capable of beating Notre Dame. Maybe they aren't, but she shouldn't give that impression.

A bad loss brings Warlick closer to being dismissed. They shouldn’t forfeit but play as evidence for poor coaching.

I suspect Notre Dame wins by 20 which want be that bad Bama beat us by 21. I think we'll play a decent game but no way we win unless the powers unknown are on our side.

Hard to believe but this is actually a reasonable question in some ways. Of course, we cannot forfeit and the danger is that ND may have a complete meltdown - lose a couple of stars to injury or foul trouble - and the LV's actually keep it close.

Yes - it has come down to this - a very sad sad sad state of affairs

This team is in total disarray....and supposedly with a lot of talent. I don't know if this defends Holly or not...but they don't seem talented at all. Almost on the level of Austin Peay or something. But yet they are 5 star players. Is Holly that bad that she turns All Americans into 2 star lamers? Or that horrible of a coach that she can't even win with superior athletes? I'm leaning toward the latter. And that's a damn shame.

Honestly I think ND and muffet in particular are too classy to administer a full beat down and embarrass us that way .
Also y’all wait and see . We couldn’t manage poor Arkansas but I bet we will step up randomly and play better against ND. Typically we follow the competition level, w or l.

I, for one, will not watch the game between ND & TN. I didn't watch last night's loss by one point.
I'm a lot better off now by not watching the LV games.....watching them only makes me very angry in losing.
Holly should realize she needs to walk away & let another coach temporarily finish the season.
If the networks show any kind of mercy they want show the game so LVs cannot be embarrassed any longer.

The score will depend on how well the LVs can play against ND's bench. Doubt MM keeps her starters in to run up the score on the LVs in a "We Back Pat" game.

Forfeit? Yikes!
As someone else pointed out in another thread, during Holly's tenure her teams have won a few games that they weren't really expected to win, including against Notre Dame just season before last. Just last season Tennessee was handling Notre Dame, the eventual National Champions, until very late in the game. They've beaten both Stanford and South Carolina a few times. They've delivered at least one surprising loss each to Texas A&M and Mississippi State. All those outstanding wins were right there in the mix with mindboggling losses to the likes of Alabama, Florida, Ole Miss, Mizzou, Virginia Tech, LSU, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, etc.

Bottom line is, no matter how bad they can look, you really can never know for sure that they won't pull a win out somehow. It's crazy. I certainly wouldn't bet on getting a win, but I can't say it's impossible. Muffet McGraw is one of the best coaches in the business, and sure doesn't want HER team to be the one to take the first embarrassing loss to Tennessee in weeks.... but that also might make her and her team a little tight. You never know! Stranger things have happened!

GO LADY VOLS!!!!!!!

Can't forfeit a game, but they could say they have to wear different color uniforms (solid white, no logo maybe) and paper bags over their heads while they play.
