Xbox is good. If I could justify both, I'd have both. When the PS3 came out, it was the cheapest bluray player on the market, plus it played games = no brainer for me at the time.

For the amount of gaming I do, if I could go back and make the decision again, it would be the same one. I'm not a hardcore gamer. Maybe if I was I would get an Xbox and bruno would like me.

whatever the **** a hardcore gamer is, has nothing to do with what system you go with imo. Some people just prefer one over the other because it has a certain something that they want. If you want a gaming system that has BR like the OP does, its a pretty simple choice.

I've never had a RROD - but I didn't buy my xbox within the first year of it releasing. But yeah - you're only hardcore if you a) own an xbox b) own an xbox and ps3 c) game on the PC d) game on a combination of the PC, xbox, ps3

Well, I was out of town for a week, so I probably would have put in just as much as you otherwise. Don't tell her that, though. I like causing domestic disputes.

Well, I play minesweeper on the PC all the time, so I guess I'm a hardcore gamer.

Dead honest.... my PS3 is turned on for my daughter to watch Spongebob on Netflix. Other than that, it is waiting for The Show to have a true online franchise.

i have both but play my 360 the most.. you wont go wrong with whatever you end up getting because both systems have great exclusives.

My system usage goes in cycles. For the past couple of months I have been probably 70% PS3 with Uncharted coming out. I actually have Skyrim Preordered for PS3, not sure why, its just what I did.

I like my sports games on the xbox usually, right now its NBA 2k12. I will say this, as far as shooters go...I usually get my ass handed to me wayyy more on xbox.

The people who play the shooters on the xbox are usually the younger generation whom are generally far better at the twitch games since they grew up with an xbox controller in their hand playing these games - which leads to better competition on games like COD.
