Get ps3 or Xbox? Not a huge gamer, and am leaning ps3 cuz they blu ray.

Any real pros or cons?

PS3. Free online, better exclusive games, blu ray, better controller that fits in your hand better and is good for kids, lower failure rate.

360 has a better online community. Only PlayStation game that has any edge on xbox is The Show.

I've had both systems and I've stuck with the PS3. I've gotten rid of 3 360s

I read good stuff about uncharted series. I enjoyed gears of war so that kind of sucks

I didn't expect this kind of remark from a fellow Jr fan.

Personally, I like everything about the xbox better. PS3 does have some signature games that people go crazy over, but so does XBOX. I've had both consoles, and as far as menus, online, and pretty much everything else, XBOX does the job for me.

If you don't like to game, then a PS3 is right for you. XBOX and their online community is built for someone serious. PS3 people just use it for blu-rays.

For a casual gamer, I'd lean PS3 because of bluray and free online. I play so off and on, I don't want to pay for the right to play online. As far as exclusives, both systems have great games.

I like the Xbox thing with streaming E360.

It's just personal preference and weighing which features are important to you. The PS3 is a top notch bluray player, though. And Uncharted is a shockingly awesome game. I really like Killzone, too, and think it's better than Gears. Forza may have the edge on Gran Turismo, but I never play either.

To the OP, if you are just a casual gamer and dont put a whole lot of stock into online gaming(even though the PS3 is capable of online gaming), I would go with the PS3. Especially if a BR player is a selling point to you.

I laughed at this.

What don't you laugh at, or have an a holish thing to say about?

The video answers a lot of questions and is helpful for those wanting to know. PS3 was built way better than xbox. Finally yrs after they released, they made some changes just to almost be on par with Sony. PS3 is ready out of the box. Xbox you have to buy bulky adaptors and remote sensors etc. Im sure that was some of the things they changed, huh? The only thing box has is Halo and live. If you want a more powerful complete machine get ps3. Also not have to pay for online use when you already pay for Internet. Microsoft is all about getting your money.

Are you referring to that suckfest of an online service called PSN? Its not even comparable. Please define to me how the PS3 was "built way better"? It was built in a way that prevented it from being utilized by most software developers. I could care less what some fanboy ****tard are saying in a video posted on a PS3/Sony website. Also, what the **** are you talking about "bulky adapters and remote sensors"? You are always posting these agenda driven post about how PS3 is God's gift to gaming when the fact is that the PS3 can hardly run at half the FPS that the Xbox runs at with games that are availible on both. For what this guy wants(the OP) he would probably enjoy the PS3 more, but go ahead and look at the sales numbers for both consoles, the 360 literally has been curb stomping the PS3 for more than a year.

PS3 is God's gift to gaming. Turns out Bill Gates is just a better console designer.

Being released first helps I suppose?

I have posted this before. box boys say its out of date which would mean it took microsoft yrs to make changes that Sony already had

YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

I have had both, PS3 is good because of the Blu Ray and has better exclusives. If you intend to play online with friends then xbox is the way to go.
