Why would anyone steal a laptop without the express purpose of flipping it and making some CA-A-SSHH...boy these kids today...
I voted to wait and see how it unfolds I mean I understand if you voted to kick him off. If it walks like a duck then it probably steals bread like one. But he is innocent untill proven other wise and to be in possession of stolen property doesnt necessarily mean you stole it.
Cops state the laptop ($10,000 Mac Pro) was detected on the UT wireless network. Upon its location being found two cops approached Cameron (in the library I think) where he had it on his laptop. Upon seeing them, he closed the lid. In short, he was caught red-handed.
No if, maybe, or buts. Very disappointing. I'm one who often, and I do mean often object to folks who badmouth our players. But something like this eliminates doubt to such extent, you have to draw a line somewhere. Even if you can't afford a $10K laptop, if it belongs to a student, staff, or faculty and used on campus, the LAN can track it. You'd think if one is so tech savvy to steal such a quality laptop, you'd know it can be tracked. Twice stupid, one was stealing it, two was using the thing on campus instead of taking it home and out of range of the UT LAN. Sad as it is, bye Cam.

That explains it. Somebody stole it and sold it to Cam.
Its obvious from what we heard a couple of weeks ago that he really needed a laptop.
