so whining over 1 team not getting in a nc game is worse than 6+ teams whining over not getting into a nc game?

uh...no. damn new math.

So by your rationale, since it will never be COMPLETELY perfect, they should give up trying to improve it as much as possible?

Solid logic.

And for the record, I wouldn't give a damn what a 6th or 7th place team was complaining about. I do care what an undefeated 3rd ranked team has to say though. There are many facets to improving the system. The abolishment of preseason rankings would be a good start.

so the #3 undefeated matters to you but the undefeated # 5 doesnt? How about the undefeated #10? Doesnt matter either? Pretty biased there. I imagine Utah and BSU have other ideas. For that matter so does #4 Cali (10-1), #6 Texas (10-1), #7 Louisville (10-1), #8 Georgia (9-2), and #9 Va Tech (10-2).

Or you could cut out the middle man and not worry about #10, #5, or #3 since no one thought they were good enough to earn a NC. Dont have to worry about #4, #6, #7, #8, or #9 either.

Yes it is. Thank you.

Really simple. If you're not good enough to be known as either the #1 or #2 in the country then you're not good enough to play for a NC.

ps. If Auburn hadnt played Div 1aa Citadel then it would be another story. They did and they got what they deserved. It would have been a bigger rip off is Aub had jumped over either USC or Okl.

So Auburn wants to claim a national championship stripped from a school that cheated to obtain said championship? I love irony!
