I am talking about our final kickoff. The one after we had taken the lead. We kicked it short- to the 25. Clearly intentional and it lead to georgia tying the game

Its better than risking a kickoff return which woulda basically been a shot right in the balls. I'm okay with it. Forced him into a LONG FG, they got it. Tied game. Way it started, I'll take it.

Hindsight is 20 20.. The purpose is to run a couple precious seconds off the clock. Proof is, on a touch back, they have 3 or 4 more seconds. That.said, I hate the dang call!

If you are worried about a td return then why would you ever kick it deep?
Just kick it out of bounds and give it to them on the 35 (or is it the 40 now?)

I thought the point was it allowed the kicking team to close on the ball quicker and prevent a long return.

I think it's a poor move considering the %

What is the likelihood they will score a TD if we kick it deep?

What are the odds they will make a FG if we kick it short?

Surely the odds are better kicking it deep

I think they trusted Palarady to actually kick it a bit farther and hang it in the air a little longer, I don't disagree with the decision

Yes it did. They called 2 straight very conservative running plays which we stuffed causing 3rd and long.

Explain to me how the short kick caused georgia to call two straight running plays and then a passing play
And apparently they are not showing the game where you live cause they only ran the ball onceafter that kuck then murray was sacked

This is just stupid, had we kicked it deep for a touchback it would have been in the exact same spot...

Where u not pleased when the kick before resulted in them starting inside their 20?
