this is and isn't appropriate for a thread but very entertaining. i was looking for a hunting show to watch and saw they were hunting gators in florida. they baited them on a trot line then eased up to them in a jon boat. one man had a deer rifle. One man eased down and gently pulled the line till gators head was approx 1ft from top of water and the other stuck the gun down real close and shot it in the head.

Now they are all mascots and all but i hate gators as mascots, animals or any other affiliation. i even burned all the shirts i had that used to come with the lil alligator on the chest. whatever brand that was. If anyone can find a video and downsize it so we can have an avatar of this scenario I'd appreciate it. Especially every time lawgator said or posted anything that ticked us off.

Now if we can find a way to ''bait'' in c.u.m and teblow this fall and ''pop'' them in the heads, the rest of the season should go well and we'll have it made. GO VOLS!

ya, me and a buddy plan on going gator hunting next year. it's kind of expensive, but i want one of those s.o.b.'s sitting on my fireplace

i have a head on my fireplace it was from one that was 9.5 ft. i didnt kill it though. i hear gator tail is awesome as well but i cant get the man the can cook it the best to cook it for me. as soon as i get some model car paint my black painted gator head will get the power T hand painted on his forehead. I considered throwing it around when we palyed them if i got mad but its so heavy i'd break something.lol

I have buried several on my ranch in Central FL. They would come out of my pond and try to get into my pool screen or horse pasture.
I always had more fun just sneeking up behind them and bashing their skulls with a flat head shovel. When the blood seeps out of the eye sockets, you know they are dead.
The four to 6 foot ones have the best tail meat. Once they are bigger than that, the meat is too chewey.
