Glad to know you are good. It is a shock. Will do with the prayer..I'm here on base (in good health), and it was shocking, to say the least. Had a friend that was in the building next door, and the shooting itself happened less than a mile from my company offices. Base was locked DOWN for like 7 hours, but we (the wife and I, she was on base with me) made it home safely.
I'm not much for it, but if you are, please remember the families of the fallen in your prayers tonight. It's a sad day, to say the least.
I agree. That's what I was thinking. Thanks, VnV. The friend that was next door to the shootings has a wife that's in Iraq right now.
Someone here made the comment that "it's a damn shame that these soldiers, who risk their lives in Iraq, have to be leery and on guard against losing their lives here at home, where they're supposed to be safe".
I'm all for concealed carry now. Just so ya know. This would have never happened, had someone......anyone been carrying. Just my $.02.
