Shoop confirmed on campus

One of the all time best rants by a coach I have ever seen. What made it so good was that he was defending one of his players, even if it did come off as being a little too melo-dramatic.

I honestly loved his gesture of defending his player, but I bet he had no clue that he would become an iconic sound bite!

My son is 12 imagine the heart ache he has adsorbed..Especially living in the bottom of middle TN only 5 miles from bama border..All the kids at school are band wagon banners...He has cried and broken alot of stuff .Even threw away his Vols stuff several time...This year when we list to FL he fell on floor, hitting the floor with his fist cryin, saying when are we ever gonna fckin win....My whole life we have been losers....

My son just turned 8, I know exactly how you feel. Can't wait to show him the season ending AP Poll. It will be the first time in his life we'll have been there.

Reading this thread, there's a ton of nincompoops in here that wouldn't be happy if Saban was our new DC.

My question is how many more people can they bring in to watch the same 2 guys drill holes. I shouldn't make fun cause I'll be watching from couch...like every week.

Per Hubbs: Shoop is staying overnight (which we knew) and that his wife is not with him. But will be with him at the press conference.

My son is 5, I used to have a video of him at age 2, during the Mizzou game, swinging a Christmas ornament in the air yelling, "Go Cordarrelle!"

7 of the 13 teams we faced this year had a total offense ranked at 99 or worse. And the average ranking of our opposing offenses compared to Penn States was worse. Yet, they had a defense ranked much higher than ours.

Wow. I honestly hadn't realized that. These are the total offensive rankings of our last six opponents (per ESPN). Those numbers are staggering.

Kentucky (97)
South Carolina (103)
North Texas (121)
Missouri (125)
Vanderbilt (120)
Northwestern (108)

After reading 57 pages of this, I have a conclusion:

Shoop has been hired. He has been talking to Butch since Dec and everything was agreed upon in principle, this is why Jancek was let go. He came to Knoxville today to sign the deal.

Everyone here is a fan of Blazing Saddles.

Some of you here are awaiting a call to Freak's office.

And lastly, because of the past, we are nervous about our future.

Thanks for taking my call, I'll hang up and listen.

We can probably thank the Sec Network if this happens. We've gone from no money in reserves to 12 million, pre- 2015 distribution.

And not only that, Tennessee is ranked second nationally in profitability this year among division one programs, according to Forbes. Hopefully, this means the days of hemorraging money foolishly are a thing of the past.

Was that the one that went to multiple overtimes? That was my son's first game at Neyland.
