CBJ making these kinds of power moves to address the issues that held us back in 2015 demonstrates a real understanding of what needs to happen in order to make a run--several runs, in fact. Shoop did miracles with a bandaided PSU defense in a short period of time. The level of talent he'd have to work with at UT would ABSOLUTELY tempt him to make the move.

And naturally, getting Franklin to have a temper tantrum and trash his office would make this hire that much sweeter.

So if (stress if) the deal is already done, can we get greedy and start pillaging the PSU recruits?

I've respected Jones but this has firmed my believe that once he said this was his dream job and he's treated it like it is.. I'm on that Jones train.. Now if he can go out and win the east. He will be building something special here for a very long time.... Great hire imo and most of VN agrees..
