I will never understand why Jancek was let go. I take that back, it was because of his "4th down defense". so dumb rating 4th down defense as more important than Jancek's really good 3rd down defense.

Jancek's D is what got him into trouble. And I'm not talking about defense.

Shoop was fine, the problem was the 3 and out shizzy offense that kept them on the field.

I have mixed feelings about Shoop.

Yes, his defenses underperformed but to be fair, he was put in a pretty rough spot under Butch.

Do I think he needs to go? Yes.

Do I think he deserves all the blame? No.

CBJ was a bad coach and is very hard to work for.

I believe it was like a sexual harassment claim from inside athletic department. This was about time of all that Title IX stuff so it seemed like Butch had no choice because of the perception at that stream of time. I could be off a tad in details.

Sorry but no way Shoop is retained and I just can't see putting the effort into discussing him further.

He was an abject failure along with every move Jones made the past couple of seasons.
