I really have no idea myself but, seriously, does anyone know if Franklin has been running his own defense this whole time or does Shoop just need another year for the team to buy in? I realistically accept the key injuries this year but, something doesn't add up.

Man all this butch blaming is lame. Yall gave Shoop credit for us beating florida, but when his defense has given up over 2000 yards in three games now butch wont let him run his defense.....GTFOH with that bs!

As I originally stated, PennSt's D got better in his absence. Florida scored just as many points last year as they did this year. We got got! Shoop is a fraud!

I tend to agree. In 2012 Sunseri's d gave up 5393 total yards not including Ga. St.

2016 Shoops d gives up 5522 total yards yet no one is talking about Shoop.

Two different seasons where the DC change was made and pitiful results.

Look it doesn't take a Rocket scientist early in the season the D did well made halftime adjustments and we won with 2nd stringers but when they got hurt and some 3rd stringers got hurt and all on defense they got rolled from SC to the end of the year. This was injuries and a 1st year coach . we still won with 2nd string and 1 or 2 3rd stringers but then it all piled up.

Which is it, injuries or Shoop missing his guys?

Defense stopped UF 7 out of 8 possessions without his guys but now it's not having "his guys" is why they suck.

Shoop can't teach how to stop a jet sweep without "his guys"?

Shoops "guys" could teach the CBs to win man coverage when they are getting outran?

This protection of Bob Shoop is bull****. He was in a tougher league this yr, tougher schedule and teams were pointing for Tennessee all yr due to hype. He couldn't deal with it.
