TBH, I have zero interest in anything other than breakfast there. Same with Cracker Barrel*.

*I have had the chicken and dumplings there and they are good.
You're missing out on that one. The Cheesesteak is awesome.

I'm not really big on Cracker Barrel anymore. They went downhill years ago.

Shoneys was absolutely terrible I can't believe they lasted as long as they did. I went in 2020 to the JC location because Cracker Barrel was an hour wait and IHOP was closed for COVID. It was literally some of the worst breakfast food I've had. Cafeteria eggs, fatty flimsy bacon. Waffle House ***** all over Shoney's
2020? You arrived 30-40 years too late.

You're making me feel even better about my selection of you for the D-Backs nacho bucket.
I have no idea what you're talking about. Is someone illegally using my image again?

50 years ago, there was a Shoney’s Big Boy restaurant in North Georgia. Service wasn’t special. The big boy double decker burger was about what you’d expect. The last time I ate there, the fries were hot and fresh.

Stopped by the shoneys in pigeon forge down the street from Dollywood. It’s been over a decade since I’ve been to a shoney’s but it’s still the same. Breakfast buffet is great!

My daughters and I go there for breakfast most Sundays (we go out every Sunday and they get to choose).
We started going there on Christmas Eve maybe 15 years ago when power went out and then kids asked if we could do it every year, so we do. Such a hectic time of year and a lot of meal prep at home can be stressful. An hour at WH with little bonus tips for the staff is something they always look forward to and they all put money aside to give.
Last time I tried to go to ihop they were short on cooks and staff and had a limited paper menu.
