You don't find it odd that all the major news outlets chose to run stories criticizing the First Lady's choice of footwear? (NYT, WaPo, USAToday, Boston Globe to name a few)

Also, I didn't post out of outrage - I posted out of disbelief that this was deemed news worthy.

I will add that one thing feminists ***** about is women picking on other women. Yet here they are, picking on a woman for not dressing the way she's "supposed to".

If she had come out in waders and a poncho she would have been playing dress up and making fun of the situation. Or disgracing the White House by not maintaining the decorum required of a First Lady. There was no right outfit because they don't like her, so everything she does is wrong.

I liked the one that said they can't figure out what she does besides raise her kid. Imagine a man saying that about a First Lady.

So in the midst of a tragedy, the media have chosen to actually devote time and effort into discussing what kind of f*****g shoes the first lady wears? If you needed any more proof that good journalism is dead, there you go.

Someone, anyone, please explain to me why Melania's footwear should even be mentioned? If anyone really cares more about what the first lady is wearing than why she is there, then you are just a despicable piece of human trash.
