Props young man. I don't give a damn whether or not you play a down this year but you are clearly a leader and a vocal one at that. We needed your emotion last night and the whole team responded. Started with you and then before long, the whole team was jumping. I was too. Myself and my kids started going nuts in the game room right after watching you on sideline.

Go HAM all year young man and give this team the player coach it needs. You'll get yours in time. I am very glad you came back home to Rocky Top!

This thread seems like it should be merged with the thread ab 3-5 spots below this one ab Sheriron Jones being a VFL. Agree with you, but maybe scan through the threads bf making a whole new one.

Did something happen last night?

I read on VT message boards someone was saying "Their 3rd string QB got in our heads and cost us a 15-yard penalty."

Doesn't bother me...just figured it would get merged, but yea Sheriron Jones showed out last night. To make that much of an impact from the bench is impressive.

Yes, on the Dobbs int they got a nice long return but also held someone. Then at the end, Sheriron mouthed off to one of their players who had gone out on our sideline. He responded by pushing Sheriron which was called as a personal foul, leading to 25 yards of penalties and momentum killed. :good!:

I can live with it either way but from day one I've been rooting for this kid to get his chance to be successful. That won't likely come this year. But maybe, for one reason or another, he gets a shot next season. Like I said as long as we're doing what it takes to win I can live with it not happening. But maybe at the very least Jones has a future as a mentor or a coach. I definitely see something special in him that I can't quite figure out yet.

He's got talent also. Good company at QB in Tennessee.

I have never seen a 4th team QB have this much of an impact on a game without touching the ball.

Sheriron Jones could have been the Vols head cheerleader, but don't think he'd look good in shorts
