Just listened to the interview on 99.1 and I liked everything about this kid. He was very well spoken, polite and smart. He was happy about the fact that there would be competition. He was even excited about competing with Dobbs and any body else in GPA. Also mentioned that he wants to make it clear he is a QB first then a runner! Don't know what he will end up being but I really like the kids attitude from listening to the interview!

What does GPA mean in this context? I might be experiencing a derp moment.haha

Just to clarify it sounded like a location when I read it.

Proud of the composure, character and yes, sense of humor, of this signing class so far. Coach Jones has said a few times how highly the staff values character in recruiting, and it show.

There are NFL players that can't handle an interview as well as he did. I was impressed by his maturity.

Now that we have his signed NLI, has anyone warned him about what Bob Kesling does to players' names?


eta: wonder if Kesling is home, rehearsing the signees' names...

Right...he wants to compete on the field and in the classroom. Called out Dobbs because Dobbs is known for his crazy class schedule
