He wants to be a head coach in the Pac 12. More comfortable in that culture. Got really uncomfortable last year when he couldn't go out on dates or to clubs without people spreading the word to all corners. Very similar to the Kiffins being uncomfortable with being unable to eat out or go to the store.

Bottom line is, Wilcox feels he can get a Pac 12 head coaching job in the next 2-3 years with success at a D coordinator in the league.

SBV, not to sound like a douche but you said both sides had reached verbal agreements and lawyers are detailing paperwork. Then you said that what DP writes is truth to you. DP says no agreement yet. Are retracting your earlier info or do you know something else?

This! Tonight VN got in the middle of a key back and forth negoiation by Hart and reps for Shannon. They read our posts and the deal was put on hold...they could not stop laughing. But I heard Shannon enjoyed it and will come on board. And he wants Stopit to write the contract.

You have to understand that when things like this take place there is a lot of off the record conversations and unofficial contact.

Nothing official with RS has taken place. That is what UT is officially saying.

I do believe this is going to happen and will happen by weeks end.

No, I am not retracting what I said earlier. Nothing official has happened between UT and RS.

Oscar Wilde would not have succumb to the Bombay, way too cliche. Things can be only done once correctly. He could have incarnated as a Vol fan but declined. The vapours of imitation were assured. And why not? Blood is thicker than water.

no...actually. i have been writing for a tv show on fx for a few years. and this is the script for one of the episodes for the new season.......it is copyrighted and all that jazz. but this is what we came up with so far tonight

Lol Tim. I hear you. But here's what I think/almost know. Everyone knows alcohol is liquid courage. That's what is fueling this hypersonic barrage of information. Dude is legit, and spilling what he knows. Might wake up with a hangover tomm looking for the edit button in warp speed, but it's out there. I am sure he speaks the truth.
