Well guys, sorry to disappoint, but she's married now. According to my googling, she met her husband at an FCA meeting. And here's the part I rather interesting about the guy's proposal:

"He brought out this large bowl and a pitcher of water. He began washing my feet as Jesus washed his disciples feet. He kept talking about how he wanted to serve me for the rest of my life. He told me he loved me and he had never told anybody that before. I was crying and he asked, is that a yes. I said yes, yes."

For the Christian posters on this board, is this a common thing to do during a marriage proposal? Or is it common to certain denominations? Or is it simply uncommon?

No, no and NO. I am a Christian but not a nerd, I'm going to be asking my girlfriend to marry me in June and she would laugh at me and think I was being stupid if I did that. I guess it's just different strokes for different folks!

Gotcha. Here's a tip from a married dude ... plenty of flowers and rose petal trails throughout the house, apartment, etc always seem to work well. Candles are good, too.

If you're looking for a romantic city, Charleston or Savannah are hard to top.

How strange, although it does give me some ideas concerning peanut butter and jelly.
