Severe Weather Thread

There's a poster on here that lived through the Phil Campbell tornado, and I remember sharing posts with him. I can't remember his username.

It was bad in Bama according to the radio this morning. I heard them say Trussville, AL. I don't remember if that's somebody here from there, or one of our customers. But I recognize the city.

I hate this time of year. And this time of year has come early.

It's bad here. It missed where I live thank God , but all the surrounding areas are destroyed.

Vol2424, that's awful. Was this same area hit last year too?

Not really , just Oak Grove and it hit a different area there. It's pretty sad when you see it in person. Just like last April. This is a little bit closer to where I live and nothing looks the same.

It was so nice on Thursday. I think it was in the low-mid 70's. Today there was a huge downpoor and the wind picked up. I believe there were also some tornado warnings in Georgia though not near me. Spring can't get here soon enough.

Could see a major severe weather event on Tuesday in Mo., Ark, East OK. Little Rock north to Central Mo. should see the most significant weather, inckuding tornadoes. This all could move East into West Tn, North Miss., West Ky on Wednesday

Breaking news type shat right there.

This is Georgia Peaches for your Monday weather forecast in the greater North Metro Atlanta area. Today's forecast shows a 30% chance in rain with low winds and temperatures in the low 60's. That concludes your Monday forecast. Escape Goat can kiss my grits.

CV I was sitting and talking with an old guy a couple days ago and he "reckons" this will be a particularly severe spring. Any science to back that up

Lots of tornado warnings close by. It's scary that this is happening this early in the year.
