btw, did anyone catch the hour long show on the National Geographic channel last nite? it was on the storms from late april. good show, it was all footage of different people who recorded it on their phones and camcorders. it was different than discovery channels show

101 here today on June 1st. Doesn't bode well for what July and August are going to feel like.

These union line crews are some cow milkers. A line gang earning by the piece would be done with this crap already.

just found a pic of my area where the tornado came across. this pic was taken just a few weeks ago, me and one of my neighbors already have new roofs on our homes. as you can tell we are way ahead of everyone else

the houses that are leveled were siding homes. if you look at the middle left where there is a corn field(looks like a big dirt field, my home is in that culdesac. its to the left of that huge tree line that's completely down. like i said i already have my roof fixed, so these pictures were taken within the past month. i guess you could say my house is either the beginning of the culdesac or right before it, the homes on both sides of me have tarps on their homes. its just in front of the dirt field. all my trees are down but they are all laying on top of each other so it looks like they're still standing. the other home in the culdesac that has a roof back on had major damage as well. what that picture doesn't show is the damage to the left of my home, my entire road(both sides) have tarps on them.

this was the longest f5 of the day, covering 132 miles. a lady at work said yesterday that they found some wrangler jeans in her yard that had just been made. the wrangler plant is in hackleburg, she lives 68 miles from there.

Glad to hear you've gotten your roof replaced. I cannot get roofers out to give estimates in less than two to three weeks, work will take three months or more, some are booked up to December.

BTW, our insurance check came to $45,000 +.

nice check. that's the way my neighbors are, i was extremely lucky that my dad was able to file a claim for me online the morning after the tornadoes. what all are they going to have to do to your home?

Complete reroof (6000 sqft), replace vinyl siding (4600 sqft), replace eight windows, 195 ft of gutters plus downspouts, and had one large tree strike house, four went through privacy fence and nine others down.
