I think Ohio St would intentionally not run it up even if they could to help the Big 10 get a team over the SEC.

Things are going very well for us so far:

Florida up 3 and stopped Ole Miss on 4th and 1.
Georgia giving up lots of rushing yards to UMass.
Ohio State up 28-7 and has shut down Indiana after their 1st drive.
Miami struggling with Wake Forest.
UT up 21-0 nearing halftime and looking much better in the 2nd quarter.

Couldn't ask for much more at this point.

Indiana is in.

After watching the first half Indiana has secured their playoff spot regardless of second half. Their punter just cost them 7 points but they’ve not only been competitive. They look as talented as Ohio State.

How you feeling now, champ?

And don't get me wrong, I like Indiana. I got a master's degree there.

But they're dropping like a rock right now.

Out of all of these scenarios, I think the least likely is that Minnesota marries Penn State.

Although. nothing would really surprise me in college sports anymore.

I think if Ohio State scores again, Indiana drops far enough that we pass them.

UNLESS they somehow could still qualify for the B10 CG. Then the Committee will keep them in play a little longer.

I remember some posters on here a few weeks ago trying to argue Indiana was for real because they were blowing out bad teams. Indiana is who we thought they were. A mediocre team that benefitted from a soft schedule. They wouldn't go 6-6 in the SEC this year. Insane that they were ever considered playoff worthy.

Beyond winning our game, we just need one or two of these to happen. If all seven played out, the Vols would probably get the coveted #5 spot in the playoffs. lol.
