11am
#2 Ohio St over #5 Indiana in a big, embarrassing way
UR Florida beats #9 Ole Miss

noon
#11 Vols beat directional baby Texas

2:30pm
UR Kentucky whomps #3 Texas
UR Minnesota esposes #4 Penn St

6pm
#19 Army shocks #6 Notre Dame
UR Oklahoma surprises #7 Bama

Beyond winning our game, we just need one or two of these to happen. If all seven played out, the Vols would probably get the coveted #5 spot in the playoffs. lol.

Go Vols!

I like how you had to include “UR” to let everyone know the teams are unranked while at the same time putting the ranking number next to the teams that are ranked.

It's not the Knoxville Volunteers, brother, it's the Tennessee Volunteers.

I was born and bred a Volunteer, and have never lived further east in our great state than Tullahoma.

Plus, Vols fans live all over the world. We volunteer to serve in the military an awful lot, so end up in some of the far-flung reaches of the globe.

Go Vols!

The chances of these upsets happening are slim to none.

Out of all of these scenarios, I think the least likely is that Minnesota marries Penn State.

Although. nothing would really surprise me in college sports anymore.

I would add, as indirect help to the Vols:

Rutgers over #25 Illinois
#21 ASU over #14 BYU
Mississippi St over #23 Missouri
Auburn over #15 Texas A&M(a bit more direct assistance)

If Indiana and Penn St was in the SEC they would have 4 or 5 loses.

We just need to take care of business today and against Vandy. The odds of all the other teams winning out who are currently competing with us for a playoff spot has to be under 5%.
No- the players and coaches need to take care of business. We as fans can do this and that is what makes it fun for us.

Indiana is in.

After watching the first half Indiana has secured their playoff spot regardless of second half. Their punter just cost them 7 points but they’ve not only been competitive. They look as talented as Ohio State.

Maybe not.

Truth is, most poll voters don't watch most of the games (and the CFP is influenced by the polls more than the committee members want to admit).

If the final score is something like Ohio State 35, Indiana 14, or Ohio State 48, Indiana 21, Indiana could drop like a rock.

Go Vols!

No so fast. They have 69 yards of offense. They are about to get rolled.

I think it will take 42-14 or more for Indiana to drop out.

It’s starting to get away from them. Their punter dropping the snap at the end of the first half was devastating.
