Guys, since the Orson Charles announcement, we upgraded our server, adding to our already hefty server expense. As you can tell, it didn't hold up very well to today's Bryce Brown announcement. Please realize, as this is a free site, we have limited resources to work with but we are looking into some possible solutions in the near future.

I apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

Well, removing the forum header seems to have reduced some of the load. It looks funny, but it seems to work.

Is there a way to donate to the forums? I feel like we all should pitch in because this is a great place to be.

The access we have for free overcomes any and all minor inconveniences. Hopefully we have reasons to crash the server again in the future.

If you could set up some sort of secure/paypal type thing, I know that many would donate to the site, including me. We appreciate all that you do to keep us informed for free.

yea, I would definitely want to donate....

and I don't think VN should be built for sustaining 3000 people where with everyone refreshing the pages once every a few seconds.

I don't think an apology was necessary, but I think its awfully nice that you offered it.

And count me in as one who would donate if that option were available.

Volfreak, Thank you for hosting and running a free site for Vols Fans. I don't think you need to apologize to anyone. As others have stated if you put something up that asked for donations I would be glad to pitch in as well.
