Seriously, what is the wild obsession with Bray's weight?

Ken Dorsey?

Didn't play in the SEC against SEC Defenses.

I don't know how big of a deal it is. Have Bray take the "Peyton Manning Injury Avoidance Course" and install a lot of short, quick passing patterns.

I dont get the connection..

I think he was thinking that people were saying that a skinny QB couldn't accomplish anything. He used Ken Dorsey... but that was back when Miami had disgusting talent (including OL) and were playing against far weaker competition. Erik Ainge (height/weight) would have be a better comparison... but still not quite similar at all.

One thing I can think of off the top of my head is the difference in OL's the two had/have...

Dorsey barely got touched during his stint at UM...Bray will likely not have that luxury...not this year at least

Dorsey had Bryant McKinnie as a youngster. Lets hope the same goes for Bray with JaWuan James.

In short, it is the consensus of this thread that Simms is the future. I mean, Rick Clausen has more arm strength/smarts than this kid.

Pitiful, absolutely pitiful Tennessee football has come to this.

Super flak jackets made out of kevlar and you think 20 pounds is going to be the difference maker?

Smarts is debatable... but if you think Clausen has a better arm than Simms you are off of your rocker.

Fine, let Simms get destroyed and start Bray on the back half.

No, I'm not. I don't lie to myself to make myself feel better. Simms is awful.

After 2-6 you will agree with me.
